KILOVIEW’s new device management platform KILOLINK Server Free is cloud-based and VPN-encrypted, a single environment where users can manage and set all of their KILOVIEW gear. Both cloud and on-premises deployments are supported, including fast upgrades, restoring and resetting connectivity, and direct access to the device management interface. This product is free for the current release, allowing up to 32 connected devices, supported by Chrome, Edge and Safari – which means users can log in to the management software from anywhere, anytime.

For users managing dozens of KILOVIEW devices, the KILOLINK Server Free makes it simpler to move back and forth between multiple user interfaces by working through one comprehensive dashboard for all devices. Users have options to upgrade firmware, restore factory settings or restart devices with a few clicks.

KILOLINK Server Free is a bonding server, which joins two or more network interfaces together into a single interface in order to improve performance and redundancy by increasing the network throughput and bandwidth. For instance, if one interface is down or unplugged, the other will work.

The server’s bonding network transmission is based on RUDP and TLS1.3, for safety, reliability and generally better performance than traditional TCP protocols. All KILOVIEW products are supported – encoders and decoders, hardware and software, including all KILOVIEW NDI converters, Cradle rack-mounted frame series, Multiviewer, and NDI CORE switching panels. Real-time monitoring and control shows the status of each device and associated video and audio.
