Trixter Film visual effects studio, is launching a new studio in Toronto, Canada, under the leadership of entrepreneurs Michael Gianfriddo and Ken Mandeville.

Michael Gianfriddo and Ken Mandeville are making a significant investment in Hollywood by creatingTrixter Inc, a new, diversified entertainment holding company, and partnering with the current principals of Trixter Film, currently located in Munich, LA and Berlin. Trixter Inc will operate as a hybrid company, offering animation and visual effects services as well as developing, producing and co-producing original content with partners worldwide. The new entity will also invest and control subsidiary companies involved in the financing, production, animation and visual effects of commercials, feature films and TV content, both live-action and animated.

Some of Trixter's credits include ‘Iron Man 3’, ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’, ‘Captain America: The Winter Solider’, ‘The Avengers’ and the upcoming sequel, ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’. The global trademarked Trixter brand was launched by producer and VFX artistMichael Coldeweyand VFX artistSimone Kraus, who have appointed Ken Mandeville and Michael Gianfriddo as owners in the Trixter brands, along withChristian Sommer. The studio brings 16 years of experience in international animation and visual effects projects to Canada, and will be creating career opportunities for Canadian filmmakers and VFX professionals.

Michael Gianfriddo has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer and Ken Mandeville as Chief Executive of Business Development and Chief Operating Officer of Trixter Inc. Both are recognized for expertise and relations in international, corporate and speculative finance and production, specifically structuring mergers and acquisitions domestically and overseas.
