The M.aX™ EXP supports an extensive range of industry-standard video codecs, including HEVC, H.264, MPEG-2, and NDI up to 1080p60, alongside up to 16 channels of audio codecs, allowing users to customize encoding based on their exact needs. It’s equipped with the advanced capability to ensure frame-accurate SCTE104 and SCTE35 signaling for flawless ad insertion, a critical feature for live broadcasting.
In addition to encoding and decoding, the M.aX™ EXP acts as a media gateway, enabling secure, low-latency, multi-endpoint concurrent streaming and frame-accurate switching.
