Broadpeak expanded its CDN-as-a-Service (CDNaaS) with new HyperPoPs in Brazil, and launched a new product, Multiview as a Service, on its API SaaS platform broadpeak.io

Broadpeak has increased the scope of its API software-as-a-service platform broadpeak.io with two new developments. New HyperPoPs have been added in Brazil that expand Broadpeak’s Content Delivery Network as a Service (CDNaaS), and a new product, Multiview as a Service, has been introduced to the platform portfolio. Operators use the broadpeak.io cloud platform to deploy streaming and monetisation software as on-demand services.
Broadpeak’s CDNaaS now has seven new HyperPoPs deployed across Brazil. The deployment increases the performance and streaming capacity of Broadpeak's Adaptive Streaming CDN in Latin America, improving content providers’ and broadcasters’ ability to deliver high-quality video streaming during events attracting extremely large numbers of viewers.
Simple Approach to Large-Scale Streaming
Broadpeak's CDNaaS works as a simple way for providers to stream video to large audiences without the complexity and investment required to build and operate a proprietary content delivery network. Purpose-built for video, the service accesses strategically deployed HyperPoPs in partnership with local internet service providers to optimise streaming performance, reliability and scalability during peak events.
Each HyperPoP delivers over 1 Tbps of capacity, significantly greater than the typical capacity of traditional public CDN caches. This means that content providers can handle large traffic spikes associated with the major live sports or major series launches, while maintaining a competitive quality of experience (QoE).
Built on Broadpeak's EdgePeak video and data cache software engine, the new HyperPoPs combine high-performance video delivery with intelligent, real-time security to help combat live streaming piracy and protect valuable content. Customers using the Adaptive Streaming CDN also gain integrated capabilities including dynamic ad insertion, player analytics, multi-CDN strategies and multicast ABR.
These features give content providers a comprehensive set of tools to support advertising performance and optimise efficiency as audiences scale. For demanding events such as live sports, operators can also make use of Broadpeak's NOC (Network Operations Centre) services for dedicated preparation and video expertise resources, from capacity planning and event supervision to post-event auditing.

Expanding Local Edge Distribution Capacity
The seven new HyperPoPs are deployed by YouCast across strategically selected ISP networks in Brazil, expanding local edge distribution capacity across the country and controlling latency by bringing content closer to end users.
Built on a national scale with regional diversity, delivering content at the edge of the network takes advantage of best-possible conditions and reduces global infrastructure duplication and energy requirements, helping lower costs and reduce the carbon footprint of large-scale streaming.
"Latin America is a huge growth market for streaming, and we're building the high-performance infrastructure needed to support its next phase," said Jacques Le Mancq, CEO at Broadpeak. "Our CDNaaS has been designed specifically for video, bringing performance and guaranteed quality of experience when millions of viewers come together for the biggest TV moments. The expansion also brings content delivery deeper into local networks, opening new opportunities for operator partners while helping streaming services reduce costs and reach new audiences."
This deployment builds on Broadpeak's continued global CDNaaS expansion, following the rollout of new HyperPoPs in England, Switzerland, Greece and Mexico in 2025. The growing footprint helps meet rising demand for high-performance streaming infrastructure that can reliably deliver major live events to large-scale audiences.
Multiview as a Service – Interactive and Personalised
Broadpeak’s new Multiview as a Service, also introduced recently on broadpeak.io, is fully managed, which means streaming platforms and broadband providers can launch user-curated Multiview experiences for live events with speed and simplicity, as required. Broadpeak will demonstrate the new service as part of its portfolio of cloud applications at IBC2026.

Because interest in more interactive and personalised experiences for live video continues to grow, broadcasters and streaming providers are looking for new ways to give viewers greater control over how they watch live events. Multiview allows audiences to choose their preferred layouts and watch multiple channels, live events or camera angles simultaneously. This creates a richer viewing experience designed to increase engagement, encourage longer viewing sessions and help reduce subscriber churn.
"Multiview has become one of the most requested capabilities for premium sports streaming, particularly during a huge summer of live sporting events, but the cost and complexity of deployment have prevented many providers from bringing it to market," Jacques Le Mancq said. "Bringing Multiview to broadpeak.io removes those barriers and makes sophisticated viewing experiences accessible to a wide range of service providers via a nimble, cost-efficient model."
Unlike traditional Multiview deployments, which can require significant infrastructure, encoding resources and lengthy integration projects, Broadpeak's cloud-based service measurably accelerates time to market. Users can introduce Multiview across various devices through a flexible, usage-based SaaS model, avoiding upfront CAPEX investment and aligning costs with service usage.
Broadpeak also manages the underlying infrastructure and continuously supervises the service through its team of video streaming specialists. Proactive monitoring helps keep service performance consistent, while users optimise their own service settings over time by referring to detailed KPIs. broadpeak.tv
