TAG Video’s new cloud platform gives each company visibility of their complete workflow along a delivery chain, using AI to support visibility into root-cause analysis toward their next steps.

TAG Blue is a new cloud platform, currently in development at TAG Video Systems, aiming to give each company along a delivery chain shared visibility of their complete workflow, while using AI to turn that visibility into a root cause analysis and understanding of the next steps to take.
Limitations and Weaknesses in Modern Data Monitoring
TAG’s Core platform gives broadcasters complete visibility inside their own operation, but what happens beyond that boundary has now become more relevant and more of a challenge. As content moves across a number entities, facilities, partners and workflows, visibility breaks down in two different ways.
First, every entity on the chain sees only its own section of the workflow. No team sees the full path. Second, the collection of measurements and other data each deployment generates may be thorough enough to explain what went wrong. But connecting the sources and pools of information across companies to a root cause and determining a next step is impossible or too time consuming and costly. In short, siloed data tends to drive up the mean time to recovery or response (MTTR) and its associated costs.
TAG Blue Process
TAG Blue will give each entity in the delivery chain visibility into the workflow points they have in common using existing TAG technology, with no new instrumentation required. AI technology then correlates errors across the defined path, finds the potential root cause, and recommends the steps to fix the issue. Instead of digging through logs, operators will be able to directly ask TAG Blue, which runs on a large language model (LLM) built into the platform, what happened, generating an immediate answer.

In a live sports broadcast, for example, shared visibility between production and its takers is crucial. From the venue through to the platforms airing it, all teams will see the same picture in TAG Blue, end to end. If something breaks along the way, everyone already knows where and why, instead of each side checking its own system while the clock is running.
TAG is now working with other media technology vendors to extend that same shared visibility further across the industry.
"Traditionally, every entity on the chain could see what was happening inside its own walls and almost nothing beyond them. When something goes wrong, the phone starts ringing. TAG Blue changes that. It gives them real visibility across the chain, securely, without giving up control, and its AI turns that into a root cause and solutions. Broadcasters, service providers and operators can solve the problem and avoid unnecessary costs related to service outages," said Ziv Mor, Chief Growth Officer, TAG Video Systems.
TAG Blue is in development and was previewed at IBC2026 in Amsterdam. Design partners are expected before the end of 2026. tagvs.com
