Mediaproxy’s Monwall multiviewer and IP compliance platform, available in a new release, now features real-time incident review and comprehensive web dashboard integration.

Mediaproxy monwall server

Mediaproxy’s Monwall multiviewer and IP compliance monitoring platform is now available in a new release that features Instant Replay for live incident review, and the ability to monitor HTML content directly within mosaic outputs for broadcasters and media operators.

Instant Replay is designed for instant review of incidents that occur during live broadcasts, simplifying the process of incident investigation. Users can quickly and efficiently assess and address issues without interrupting ongoing operations. Using both a web interface and a physical control surface, mosaic outputs can be rewound for immediate incident analysis.

Live and Historical Media Review in Parallel

The interface is set up so that both live real-time and historical media may be viewed in parallel. This capability is critical for control and monitoring rooms where time is of the essence, especially during broadcasts where on-air incidents must be resolved rapidly.

The Instant Replay functionality is built to scale across multiple mosaics, supporting review workflows in environments with numerous displays. Broadcast teams can now conduct frame-level analysis across all monitored sources to avoid missing details. This granular control combined with high-quality playback results in clarity and precision for effective incident resolution.

An option is included to access the same mosaic outputs via a low-latency web browser interface for situations where flexible, location-independent broadcast management is needed. Operators and engineers can work remotely without compromising on speed or functionality. Whether in a traditional control room or a distributed remote setup, latency is minimal, contributing to faster response times and more robust broadcast oversight.

As well as Instant Replay, Mediaproxy has introduced a new HTML content monitoring feature for adding HTML PIPs (picture-in-picture) to the mosaic output or to the interactive multiviewer client. This means any web dashboard can be tracked – including those displaying metrics, analytics or live status information – alongside traditional broadcast feeds.

Dynamic Content Monitoring

HTML monitoring is not limited to static dashboards. Sites with dynamic video content, such as YouTube, Hulu, Roku or Fubo, can also be integrated directly within the multiviewer. This solves the challenge of monitoring both traditional and web-based content sources in a unified interface. Mediaproxy’s solution brings all relevant information from either legacy broadcast systems or contemporary web platforms into a single, interactive display.

For broadcasters managing OTT, FAST and hybrid workflows, the ability to visualise web content alongside live video feeds has become more critical.

Erik Otto, CEO of Mediaproxy, said, “High-quality instant replay within our ecosystem of monitoring tools will significantly reduce the time it takes to investigate and clear on-air incidents, and the addition of HTML data panels in both our interactive server-side multiviewers help solve today’s real-world challenges.”
