After introducing new AI features in Vantage, Telestream embeds and integrates AI into enterprise operations, impacting ingest, processing, compliance and delivery workflows.

Telestream has further developed the practical use of AI across its products including Vantage, Vantage Cloud, EDC cloud-native media processing, Stanza captioning and Qualify file-based QC. Building on Vantage AI introduced in 2025 as a foundation, this development has resulted in faster localisation, more effective quality control and new, AI-assisted workflow design capabilities.
Overall, the improvements connect and unify enterprise operations across on-premises, cloud and hybrid environments.
Starting from the introduction of AI features, the company’s focus has now shifted to embedding and integrating AI into enterprise operations, with impact across ingest, processing, compliance and delivery workflows. Telestream's efforts have so far yielded measurable operational progress across five core areas.
Automated Localisation at Scale
AI-powered captioning and translation. Vantage and Stanza workflows now support up to 128 languages, and allow users to automate speech-to-text, generate captions and output multilingual subtitles in a unified processing chain. This functionality can reduce turnaround time for FAST channels, OTT distribution and global sports syndication.
AI-Assisted QC
Enhancements to Qualify’s QC features integrate AI into lip-sync validation, subtitle alignment checks and spoken-language verification, and from there directly into automated QC workflows. By flagging only exception-based issues for operator review, teams can improve on confidence and platform compliance, while reducing time spent on manual inspection time.

Real-Time Speech Intelligence for Growing Files
Speech-to-text and metadata extraction capabilities can now apply to growing file workflows, and enable real-time tagging and searchable metadata during ingest and processing. This allows news, sports and live production teams to speed up time-to-edit and content discovery without waiting for file completion.
Visual Intelligence for Automation
AI Vision introduces frame-level visual intelligence across Telestream workflows, automatically generating actionable video metadata. Using computer vision, AI Vision can gather information beyond standard file properties, identifying objects, logos, lower thirds, safe-area violations and objectionable content, and generating scene-level descriptions.
Through these capabilities, users are able to automate scene description within a video feed as metadata in real time, logo detection and removal across large content libraries, and ad-break identification and replacement for VOD repurposing. As well as reducing manual review time, AI Vision can strengthen compliance workflows and expand options for automation in live and file-based production environments.
Content-Aware Analysis
Alongside descriptive metadata, AI Media Analyzer takes content inspection from basic technical validation to contextual understanding of what is actually inside a media file. Not only verifying resolution, frame rate and codec, Media Analyzer detects the nature of the content, segments media into meaningful sections and generates metadata that reflects scene changes, content types, graphic overlays and potential compliance risks.

This content-aware analysis leads to faster review cycles and more accurate downstream workflow triggering. Operators can save time across ingest, processing and delivery environments, automating media assessment as a capability ready for production. This feature is available now in Telestream's EDC (cloud-native processing) platform and will be added soon to Vantage AI.
Intelligent Automation
These enhancements ensure AI capabilities are integrated components that create a reliable, practical production infrastructure. "AI delivers value when it's operationalized at scale," said Rich Andes, Vice President of Product Management at Telestream. "Our customers don't need more labels or transcripts. They need intelligent automation that reduces turnaround time, improves accuracy, meets compliance and scales with their infrastructure and workflows."
Regarding security, users retain full control of their content, whether deployed on-premises, in private environments or via managed cloud services. No customer media is used to train shared models. Telestream continues to invest in format and compliance standards, including support for emerging codecs and audio standards and exploration of C2PA metadata workflows to address content authenticity requirements as they evolve. www.telestream.net
