Signiant Camera Any Cloud V5

At NAB Show 2025, Signiant demonstrated its Camera-to-Any-Cloud workflow using a live setup that involved real-time media transfers from a Blackmagic URSA Cine 12K camera. The demonstration highlighted the Signiant Platform’s capability to transfer growing files while recording, enabling full-resolution camera RAW files and associated metadata to be delivered to multiple destinations simultaneously.

During the live shoot, the camera output was transferred in real-time to both local on-set storage and a cloud destination selected by the user. This showed the platform’s compatibility with a range of storage environments. Once transferred, the media could be accessed through Signiant Media Engine, where proxyless playback allowed direct viewing of the original 4K, 8K, 9K or 12K RAW files in a standard web browser, avoiding the need for transcoding or dedicated software.

Media Engine also includes metadata search functionality, allowing users to locate assets using technical and user-defined metadata from the camera. Users can then download files, initiate transfers or take other actions using configurable interface buttons that support post-production workflows.

The demonstration incorporated real-time file transfer, cloud destination flexibility, browser-based high-resolution playback and metadata-driven search features designed to support a range of production environments, including on-set, in post-production facilities, or remote locations.

Jon Finegold, Chief Marketing Officer at Signiant, commented that the demonstration addresses practical challenges in media production and distribution workflows.   signiant.com
