BBright, a specialist in media processing, transport over IP and monitoring solutions, and EVS, recognised for innovations in live video technology, have successfully integrated BBright’s primary products, the BBright Decoder and BBright Integrated Playout, with EVS’s Cerebrum broadcast control and monitoring system. This collaboration has been implemented at a top level broadcaster’s facility, used to enhance their full IP and ST-2110 workflows.
The BBright Decoder is a universal multichannel contribution and monitoring decoder designed for professional broadcast applications. It supports a wide spectrum of codecs and I/O formats, serving as a media gateway for IP workflows such as SRT and ST-2110, delivering video up to Ultra HD. BBright’s Integrated Playout is a software-based media platform designed to address high-end playout applications for media up to Ultra HD, with native support of Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision metadata over 2110-41.
EVS’s Cerebrum is a complete broadcast control and monitoring system that allows users to control, configure, orchestrate and monitor a wide range of broadcast environments. Its comprehensive, highly customizable interfaces make it adaptable to both SDI and 2110 workflows, with scalability to accommodate current and future operations.
