Dalet Flex 2025.6 LTS helps to optimise media operations with new packaged workflows, secure media exchange, and containerised Kubernetes architecture to support scalability.

Dalet Ingest Portal Beta

Dalet Flex Ingest Portal

Dalet Flex 2025.6 LTS, an updated release of Dalet’s media workflow platform, introduces several new features to the software that improve media sharing, workflow development, captioning and ingest, among others. Designed for interoperability, Dalet Flex integrates into most media ecosystems. LTS stands for long-term support.

New Secure Share supports external collaboration without affecting security or control. Users can now generate secure, time-limited links for direct media exchange, and use them to share single assets, collections, review sessions or delivery packages with external partners. Secure Share gives access to individual assets, collections and reviews, controlled with granular permissions and activity tracking, and avoids the need to transfer assets between platforms.

Modular, Pre-configured Workflows

Other new functionality is Flex Packages, which are modular, pre-configured workflow bundles grouped into five strategic packs including production, AI, archiving and others. These packages accelerate development time through the use of AI-assisted workflows – Dalet Media Cortex, DeepVA and OpenAI – and ease live production integration, content review and approval, and so on. They can either work independently or as interconnected building blocks, and also serve as usable starting points, allowing customisation and expansion as required.

Dalet Flex now has a full Kubernetes architecture that containerises applications and allows the user to deploy replicas of the containers across compute nodes for greater stability, high availability and fault tolerance. Taking advantage of Kubernetes’ ability to scale, scaling configurations can be automated or expanded in response to dynamic events, allowing the user to resize deployments or capacity on demand. Other uses include cost efficiency, self-healing, software updates without downtime, and performance in high-demand environments.

Expanded language and captioning support in the Dalet Cut editor allows organisations to scale operations in terms of global delivery, with greater agility. Dalet Cut now enables the creation, translation and editing of caption files, which simplifies the editing workflow when used with FlexMAM's ability to manage the files as separate assets.

Live Stream Ingest

An important update is in Dalet Flex’s support for ingest and management of live streams – web-compressed formats as well as on-premise SDI/IP streams. Users have beta access to the new Dalet Ingest Portal, a web-based ingest scheduler that works across cloud and on-prem environments through a centralized platform. With the one portal, users can oversee the entire ingest workflow collaboratively, from anywhere.

Other new ingest features are camera card import via Dalet Kiosk, watch folders that automate content ingest, and using Drag and Drop functionality in FlexMOVE to import files quickly. All files ingested into Flex are centralised, tagged with consistent metadata, and accessible from any location.

Finally, Dalet Flex’s improved user interface has optimised layouts to make navigation easier, and language support now includes Italian, German, Portuguese, Spanish and Hebrew. www.dalet.com
